Early in my career, I noticed something that changed everything: people assumed their ideas were obvious.
The pattern that shaped my career
I kept watching the same thing: someone would brief a team orally "Build me a reporting dashboard" or "We need a better onboarding flow" and walk away thinking they'd been perfectly clear. Meanwhile, the team sat there confused but nodding, each person forming their own interpretation.
Nobody asked questions. Nobody wanted to look like they didn't get it. So everyone just started building based on their best guess.
Six months and hundreds of thousands of pounds later, everyone would realise: we weren't building the same product at all.
I became obsessed with solving this
Not through better communication tools or endless meetings, but through a methodology that evolves and creates clarity before execution. One that ensures everyone sees the same picture: what we're building, why it matters, how it works in the real world, and whether the technical team can actually deliver it.
When you get that clarity first, everything changes. You build the best product, quickly, at the lowest cost, because you're not guessing, you are executing a shared vision.

I'm a Translator
I translate between founder vision, investor expectations, and engineering reality. I've spent 15+ years learning to be fluent in all three.
-
I've Lived the Expensive Mistakes
I've watched brilliant ideas collapse, not because they were bad, but because nobody took the time to evolve them first. Those failures taught me more than any success ever could.
Why I do this work
Honestly? I love the chaos and possibility of early-stage thinking. Give me a napkin sketch and a passionate individual, and I'm happier than most people are on vacation. There's something deeply satisfying about taking the abstract and making it concrete.
I'm not the guy who just takes your money and delivers a document. I'm the guy who genuinely cares whether your product succeeds. I'll challenge you when your idea needs evolution, celebrate with you when we nail it, and lose sleep thinking about how to solve your toughest problems.
Those moments when everyone finally see the same picture? That's when I know we're about to build something that matters.
What working with me actually looks like
I'm direct but not harsh. I ask a lot of questions, the kind that uncover assumptions you didn't know you were making. I think out loud and sketch constantly (whiteboards are my happy place). I'll use metaphors, some that land perfectly and some that don't, and yes, I'll probably reference evolution more than is strictly necessary.
I don't do corporate speak or jargon for jargon's sake. If something doesn't make sense, I'll tell you. If your idea needs work, I'll tell you that too, but I'll help you fix it.

When I'm Not Evolving Products
I'm probably tinkering with new AI tools, walking around the neighbourhood thinking, or arguing with friends about product strategy over coffee. I believe the best ideas come from cross-pollinating different fields.
-
Let's Be Honest About Fit
I work best with people who value clarity over speed, who are open to being challenged, and who understand that great products come from collaboration, not dictation. Let's talk!
-
Startup Energy
I bring creativity and enthusiasm to every project, no matter the scale.
-
Enterprise Discipline
I combine structure and focus to deliver market-ready products efficiently.
I've worked with pre-seed startups and global enterprises. What I've learned: you need both the creative energy of a startup founder and the structured discipline of an enterprise team. I bring genuine passion for your success paired with proven processes that actually get products shipped, quickly, efficiently, and at the lowest cost.
If you need someone who quickly grasps your vision, asks the hard questions you haven't thought of yet, and genuinely partners with you to build something that works in the real world, this is where I thrive.
